Soo it's been a while since I've worn leggings (I've been living in cutoffs for the last 6 months it seems), and even longer since I've worn pleather leggings. But! The year of legging absence is done and 'overdue legging time' is back with a vengeance! Fear not my friends, but rather, let us embrace and welcome the return of leggings once more.
Although, I will say that with fashion's 90s resurrection (of which I am eternally grateful for), I feel that pleather leggings are more fitting than our normal cotton-lycra-spandex-etc. That is because leather is especially clutch this season (really, when is it not?), and the runways and red carpets of late have been exemplifying leather in all forms for fall/winter.
I acquired the pair I'm wearing above 2-3 years ago from Urban Outfitters, and I love its versatility. If styled appropriately they can be worn both day and night. Here I'm wearing what I call an evening outfit...maybe that's considered daytime for some of you...I don't know what you do with your time, and I'm not here to judge...mostly ;) If I was going more daytime I'd do a comfy loose sweater over it with some low heeled boots, easy peasy.
And since I can't end this post with having said 'easy peasy' I'll leave you with this: it's Friday, so it's an opportune day to get your pleather on and strut your stuff from morning til bedtime. So please do, if not for your sake then for mine.
