NYFW: Bene Rialto

Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited to the Bene Rialto NYFW event from my friend and blogger twin Mickey (follow her on Instagram: @thebohosocialite). Wink PR was working on the event, and they are fantastic if you are ever in need of a great PR company - the company's president, Elaine LaPersonerie, is lovely (Instagram: @winkpr).
Accompanied by my friend, Alisha, we were warmly greeted by Bene Rialto's Annie Badavas. She told us that Bene is personalized to help introduce emerging designers (typically they highlight about 30), and they're very story driven by brands - so you'll find brands and designers with something to say, who are more than just their product, they are also their story. I LOVE THAT!
Alisha and I were quickly sent off to have fun, discover brands and products, and get pampered (yes, please!). We had so much fun! I can honestly say that I loved every brand/product there, and the company representatives present were wonderful, they took time to get to know us and vice versa. I found that to be special because it puts a face to the brand and gives a personal connection to have with the business itself - SMART (take note kids)!
I very quickly became a little obsessed with Destiny Candle. These candles are made with massage oil lotion rather than wax and the wick and lotion won't burn you. How is that possible, you ask? I dunno, my only answer is MAGIC. Each candle also has a ring inside of it that is worth anywhere from $10-10,000 dollars (like an amazing grown up toy surprise that I'm totally into)! My favorite scent was the Coconut/Vanilla, but honestly, they were all divine. Go grab your favorite at Destiny Candle!
Next, we got our nail wraps on with Jamberry nails! FYI, Jamberry had a MAJOR presence at NYFW. They had custom nail wraps made for the Christian Siriano show that were fierce, and they also had 3 custom wraps made for the Nicholas K show that were made using his design patterns. Those are some serious customized nails. The ladies at Jamberry and I were discussing how nails have essentially become another fashion accessory, and you can customize your nails for whatever look you're donning. We had so much fun gabbing with these ladies! Get your own custom nail wraps at Jamberry here!
I got a chance to talk with Whitney Wertz from VIVE - an amazing beauty app and website. Right now, you can pay $99/month for your membership and get UNLIMITED blowouts from the city's top salons! They are also adding even more hair and beauty salons to their catalogue for your to take advantage of  so you can get pampered and beautified all over the city for a fraction of the normal cost :) Visit Vive Style online today!
Love the products from Ready To Wear Beauty! Their pigments are rich and their products are great! Full disclosure, I have a nude colored eye pencil from them called "Awake" that I've been using on my waterline and am completely in love with. Unlike other nude pencils, this one is more skin tone so it looks completely natural and you're just left with your eyes looking big and beautiful! Highly recommended! Ready To Wear is available at HSN and Beauty Brands.
Then it was time for me to get my hair blown out and styled by the incredibly talented and delightful Mark Dolan...
Amazing right?! I felt like a brand new woman and left the event feeling like I was on cloud nine! Be sure to check Mark out at Ammon Carver.
The event was a blast, and I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to go to Bene Rialto's next event! I walked back out into the frigid New York air feeling like I could conquer anything that comes my way. And not just because I got pampered and my hair did, but because I had just spent a few hours with so many lovely, smart, successful, and inspiring people - how could I not leave smiling?
Well BBs, I know this was a long post, but I had so much to say! I hope you all check out these brands and products because I truly loved all of them, and think you will too. Have a beautiful weekend lovebugs!

Best Dressed: Oscars 2015

Hi BBs! Last was the Oscars, and while I didn't watch the show, I absolutely watched the fashion (the most important part, really!). There were plenty of gowns that I liked and were beautiful, but they aren't all included here because while I loved some, I didn't feel they were Oscar-worthy gowns or appropriate for the event. So, here are my choices for Best Dressed this year, which one(s) do you love?!

(All photos courtesy of
Rosamund Pike was nothing short of bewitching in this red Givenchy Couture gown. The arched, scalloped neckline and detailing are beautiful, and she looks flawless from head to toe!

Jenna Dewan-Tatum was perfection in this white Zuhair Murad gown. I love that she kept her hair and accessories clean and minimal, and allowed her lipstick to be the pop of color!

This nude Versace gown with the sheer draping and intricate beadwork is STUNNING on Jennifer Aniston. Is it weird that I feel proud of her?! Cuz I do, and I like this feeling, so there! Okay fine, I'll admit that I wish she did her hair differently. I would have loved to see old Hollywood glam waves with this look (but I still love this dress!).

This Yanina Couture gown is just so pretty! Every detail of it is simply beautiful and Jamie Chung wears this piece with elegance.

If there is only ONE reason to marry a supermodel, it would probably be because they will smash it on the red carpet every time. Case in point, Behati Prinsloo in this Armani PrivĂ© column gown. Boom!

Glow by J. Lo was in effect last night when she illuminated the red carpet in this Elie Saab Couture gown. I mean, WOW! Kinda wish she would have done something different with her hair, but this dress is amazing.

The color, the fit, the lace detailing, the sheer panel, and the shoulders all made me fall in love with Giuliana Rancic's gown last night. Designed by Mireille Dagher, this dress is a thing of beauty and a work of art, and I WANT IT SO BAD!!! Also, I love love love her hair - the color, cut, and styling are perfect!

Which gown was your favorite?! Any pieces that I didn't include but you loved, anyways?? I want to know your thoughts BBs! Have a great Monday beauties!
