Yes, how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
- Bob Dylan
Happy Wednesday ladies and gents! Today's look has me feeling a bit wistful, free, and adventurous. Overlooking the 101 Hollywood freeway, I'm reminded that LA is not only my home, but where I'm meant to be right now. Bob Dylan is a brilliant lyricist, and there's something about this song that helps remind me to open my eyes and remember my purpose :)
The outfit is simple, a bit adventurous, and nonchalant. We start with this army green utility jacket. I love its grungy-chic look, and especially its comfort. It's a great piece to throw over an outfit and get that perfect "oh I didn't spend that long planning my outfit" look, or the "oh this old thing? I just threw it on!" ;) LOL
I paired it with my stone-wash grey jeans from H&M. Comfy, versatile, and easy. What more could you want? Lastly, I topped it with my casual booties from Soda. They slide on and have a low heel so they give a little lift while remaining casual.
Alright folks, that's all she wrote! I'm feeling inspired by Mr. Dylan's lyrics (per usual) and plan to utilize my inspiration today. I hope you do the same :)
